Aug. 18th Fiesta Foods LEER es CRECER/ READING is GROWING Program

Fiesta Foods has partnered with the United Family Center to Present the Leer es Crecer/ Reading is Growing Program.

Fiesta Foods in partnership with the United Family Center (UFC) will present the Leer es Crecer/ Reading is Growing Program at UFC’s Wellness Wednesdays. The purpose of the Leer es Crecer/ Reading is Growing Program is to help improve the literacy of the community. Kids who enrolled in the program are going to be given a reading goal to complete for the summer. As kids reach their reading goals throughout the summer, they will earn prizes for their accomplishments.

At this event, through their Health & Wellness Program, the United Family Center will also be sharing the importance of Social Skills. Kids will learn about the most basic social skills like sharing and using manners, and will put what they’ve learned to the test through fun activities.
