Aug. 4th Fiesta Foods LEER es CRECER/ READING is GROWING Program

Fiesta Foods has partnered with the United Family Center to Present the Leer es Crecer/Reading is Growing Program.

Fiesta Foods in partnership with the United Family Center (UFC) will present the Leer es Crecer/ Reading is Growing Program at UFC’s Wellness Wednesdays. The purpose of the Leer es Crecer/ Reading is Growing Program is to help improve the literacy of the community. Kids who enrolled in the program are going to be given a reading goal to complete for the summer. As kids reach their reading goals throughout the summer, they will earn prizes for their accomplishments.

At this event, through their Health & Wellness Program, the United Family Center will also be sharing the importance of Mindfulness. Kids will practice activities that will help them develop compassion, focus, curiosity, and empathy.
