Aug. 4th LEER es CRECER

Books, gift cards, and cupcake coupons will be given to the families participating in the Reading is Growing program.

Fiesta Foods and its partners Save The Children and Sunnyside School District have gathered 500 books, 420 gift cards, and cupcake coupons, to give out on the upcoming event to participating families in the LEER es CRECER/ Reading is Growing Program.

The purpose of the LEER es CRECER/ Reading is Growing Program is to help improve the literacy of the community. Kids enrolled in the program have been given a reading goal to complete for the summer. As kids reach their reading goals throughout the summer, they will earn prizes for their accomplishments.

On August 4th, a LEER es CRECER/ Reading is Growing event will be hosted to give out prizes to the kids and their families for their accomplishments throughout the program. Kids will be given new books to read, a cupcake coupon for what they have already read, and a gift card for their family to shop at Fiesta Foods.
